Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Office Assistant to support a welcoming and efficient office environment. This contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing front-of-house hospitality with day-to-day workplace operations and takes pride in creating a positive employee experience. You will help keep the office organized, responsive, and ready for daily business needs while partnering with teams across the company to support smooth operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Welcome employees, visitors, and vendors with professionalism while providing guidance and timely assistance at the front desk.
  • Keep reception, shared spaces, and common areas orderly, presentable, and supplied for daily use.
  • Monitor snack, beverage, and coffee stations, replenishing items regularly and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Receive and distribute incoming food orders, parcels, and internal mail so deliveries reach the right recipients quickly.
  • Coordinate workplace upkeep by tracking supplies, preparing meeting spaces, and following through on facility-related needs.
  • Assist with office activities such as team events, onboarding support, office moves, and special projects based on changing business priorities.
  • Partner with colleagues across departments to ensure communication, scheduling, and operational requests are handled effectively.
  • Support workplace safety and security practices in collaboration with internal environmental health and safety and security partners.
