Our Choices for Children (CFC) program helps low-income families in Santa Clara and Stanislaus County gain access to subsidized childcare and other community of support services while they work, look for employment, or improve their education.
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Technician is an entry level administrative support position reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager. The Human Resources Technician is responsible for a wide variety of administrative and data entry tasks related to employment records, benefits, training, and other compliance practices in alignment with California employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support for human resources Perform data entry - transferring information from various sources Assist in creating new systems for filing and managing data and files Organize, update, and ensure compliance with human resources files
Accountabilities:
Digitizing of employment, training, and other human resources related records Researching, organizing, and updating of historical records Creating and updating organized data streams within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Migration of files and data from various sources into our
HRIS Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge:
AA or BA and/or currently enrolled in an educational program (preferably related to business practices, human resources, employment law, or the like) Some experience with maintaining records Strong typing skills with accuracy and timeliness Strong time management and attention to detail Proficiency in the use database management systems Curiosity and desire for learning about the many facets of California HR
