Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team in San Rafael, California. In this pivotal role, you will oversee essential HR functions, including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and compliance with California labor laws. This is a Contract to long-term position, offering the opportunity for ongoing growth and collaboration within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the full onboarding and offboarding process, ensuring accurate documentation for new team members and terminations.
  • Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance with company policies and state labor laws.
  • Oversee HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency and adherence to California employment regulations.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to guarantee accurate and timely processing of employee payments.
  • Support employee relations initiatives by addressing concerns and fostering a positive workplace environment.
  • Conduct background checks and ensure all pre-employment requirements are met.
  • Utilize HRIS systems to streamline administrative tasks and improve data management.
  • Provide guidance and support on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Assist in training and cross-functional support to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to legal standards and best practices in all HR functions.
