This role supports the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture function, with a primary focus on onboarding, HRIS administration, and employee record management. The People & Culture Assistant plays a key role in ensuring accurate data, timely processing of employment changes, and a smooth, positive experience for team members across all locations. This role requires flexibility, including weekend availability, to support onboarding, hiring activity, and business needs across our venues.

What You'll Do Execute the full pre-employment and onboarding process, including reference checks, offer letters, background checks, and completion of all required new hire documentation Process employee lifecycle changes in ADP, including hires, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations, ensuring compliance with applicable state laws Maintain and audit employee records, including electronic I-9 files, to ensure accuracy and compliance Ensure all personnel data in ADP is current and accurate, including pay rates, benefit status (ACA), and leave of absence tracking Respond promptly to employee inquiries, providing support on HR-related questions and ADP access/registration Process employment verifications and fulfill records requests in a timely manner Upload, file, and maintain employee documentation in appropriate systems Support reporting needs and assist with routine HR data tracking and audits Provide general administrative support to the People & Culture team as needed Perform other duties as assigned Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Customer service mindset with the ability to support employees across multiple locations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with ADP or similar HRIS preferred Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required 1-2 years of administrative or HR support experience preferred Experience in hospitality or multi-location environments is a plus Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally The important extras: As is typical in the hospitality industry, this position requires regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as shifts of more than 8 hours and workweeks of more than 40 hours.
