Human Resources Administrator | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm | $20.00/hour The Human Resources Administrator performs a wide variety of complex administrative duties to support the Human Resources and Operations Departments. Job duties include the administration and coordination of several different activities relative to Human Resources and facility operations, such as employee intake and orientation, employee records, benefit orientations, background screening and other activities related to Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates intake requirements for all new applicants including background checks, verification of employment eligibility (I-9, credentials, etc.), scheduling of drug screens and pre-employment physicals, TB testing, and fingerprinting. Coordinates criminal record clearances, including fingerprinting, for all employees working in programs regulated by Community Care Licensing, Department of Social Services. Conducts follow-up with program managers on hiring status of applicants. Maintains on file applicant resumes and applications. Distributes to program managers copies of applications of qualified applicants. Coordinates job openings with all facilities, and advertises open positions as necessary. Maintains personnel files of all current employees. Schedules and coordinates all new employee orientations. Review and update job descriptions for all staff positions and prepare all final job descriptions for the Human Resources Director's approval. Maintains database of all required staff training, including CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving and Crisis Prevention and Intervention. Provides back-up support for the office entry area, answering phones, sorting mail, receipting checks and other assignments on an as-needed basis. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources.
Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED 2+ years experience in human resources Experience assisting with the recruiting/on-boarding process Good time management and interpersonal skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
