Job Description

Description:
Join our team as a Human Resources Specialist and play a pivotal role in supporting the organization's HR functions. As an integral part of the HR team, you will be responsible for a range of tasks related to recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration. This position offers an exciting opportunity for those who are passionate about fostering a positive work environment and ensuring the success of both the organization and its employees. Locations of Responsibility Alamos /SLV (Home Base)
Greeley/Brighton Recruitment:
Manage the recruitment process, utilizing our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to source, screen, and select qualified candidates. Coordinate and participate in job fairs and other recruitment events.
Employee Relations:
Promote a place of belonging for all employees in a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural work environment. Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives. Address employee inquiries and concerns with timely and effective resolutions assisting with complaints or issues as necessary.
HR Administration:
Assist in the development of Human Resources forms, documents, correspondence, manuals, and other necessary materials. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Conduct orientations for new hires and facilitate employee training sessions as needed in the promotion of a safe and stable environment for children and all direct service providers. Maintain confidentiality in administrative and programmatic matters, sharing information only with authorized individuals within CDLF programs.
Payroll:
Assist Payroll & Benefits Specialist in reconciling bi-monthly payroll. Answer general payroll questions for internal customers.
Compliance:
Stay informed about changes in labor laws, Federal Head Start regulations, and HR best practices to ensure the organization's compliance. Assist with timely preparation of reports, documents, correspondence, manuals, and other materials related to HR. Assist in the preparation of HR metrics in compliance with senior management reporting.
Strategy:
Work closely with other HR team members to streamline workflows, processes and enhance the overall HR function. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational goal.
Requirements:
Required qualifications include an associate degree (bachelor's preferred) in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related Human Resource field, along with one or more years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required . Additionally, possession of HR certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus.
