Job Description

Our top-rated organization is looking to add a part-time temporary Human Resource Assistant to our Human Resources Administrative team. This class is responsible for administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources activities and programs.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Works under close supervision of an employee of higher grade and works more independently with acquired experience.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Greets visitors. Performs employment application intake. Maintains applicant tracking system. Performs computer entry and file maintenance. Assist employees and public with personnel information. Assist with personnel file maintenance. Prepares recruitment list and job postings. Maintains computer employment data information. Answers telephones. Assists with new employee orientation. Verifies employment status. Assists with employee/personnel projects. Training and benefits administration. Establishes various reports and documents to provide current personnel information. Gathers and sorts department documents and information. Maintains records, reports and logs pertaining to applicant flow procedures. Participates in the administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL
AND ABILITY
Basic knowledge of human resources principles and practices. Knowledge of business office operations to include filing and administrative clerical operations. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Excellent interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
High School diploma or equivalent plus two (2) years' experience of office/clerical support above the routine clerk level.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year or more of Human Resources experience. Experience with Microsoft Office.
SCHEDULE
This is a part time position. Monday through Friday, 20 hours per week from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Flexibility with schedule is needed. The duration of this appointment will be until December 19, 2026, and may be less or continued based on need. Due to the special nature of this position, continuous employment cannot be guaranteed.
SALARY:
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00. This position is not eligible for benefits.
