Human Resources Coordinator (Union Position) 12 months- 40 hours per week
HOURLY WAGE
$29.85- $37.
Pay Group:
A DUTIES
The Human Resources Coordinator performs Human Resources administrative work of a complex, responsible and confidential nature, relating to the administration of employees' Medical and other Insurances and Enrollments, Workers' Compensation, FMLA leaves and fringe benefits.KEY FUNCTIONS
- Coordinates employee benefits across the school district
- Coordinates Workers' Compensation claims and OSHA reports
- Coordinates FMLA, maternity and other leave programs
- Coordinates employee benefits across the school district
- Assists with Human Resources projects, including Open Enrollment
- Tracks, creates and maintains employee data, records, spreadsheets and benefit/medical files
QUALIFICATIONS
- Human Resources experience with benefits and leaves administration required (prefer minimum of 3 years' experience)
- Excellent administrative assistant and secretarial skills with strong technology proficiency in Windows, Google and all associated applications; Advanced Excel and database skills desired (prior experience with iVisions a plus)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter, detail-oriented and collaborative
- Solid relationship-building skills including the ability to relate easily and work well with all levels of staff, vendors and the public
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent, and three years of progressively responsible Human Resources and/or employment confidential administrative/clerical experience; or equivalent combination of experience and training
