RECRUITING AND ONBOARDING COORDINATOR POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Recruiter will oversee talent acquisition for the entire agency. This employee directs the internal & external posting of employment opportunities and maintains various advertising resources to effectively recruit applicants. They will recruit, screen, and interview applicants for potential employment. The Recruiter executes the employment onboarding process to ensure that new employees (including interns and fellows) complete all necessary documents during the hiring process before a hire letter is issued. This includes all background checks (DCF, CT State Police, Motor Vehicle, Sex Offender, Education, DDS, and any others that may be required). The employee will perform other assigned duties. The Recruiter will report to the Manager of Human Resources.POSITION STATUS

: Microsoft Office Suite, Scheduling Platform (ADP WFM), Online Trainings Platform (ADP WFN), Accountable and responsible for the following results: Oversee talent acquisition for the entire agency. Directs the internal & external posting of employment opportunities and maintains various advertising resources to effectively recruit applicants. Recruit, screen, and interview applicants for potential employment. Conduct individual and group interviews for the agency. Executes the employment onboarding process to ensure that new employees (including interns and fellows) complete all necessary documents during the hiring process before a hire letter is issued. This includes all background checks (DCF, CT State Police, Motor Vehicle, Sex Offender, Education, DDS, and any others that may be required). Coordinate pre-employment physicals, physical demand screens and placement of PPD. Confirm and document this information as needed. Conduct new employee (and intern) orientations including the review of employee benefits and getting all information, in a Change in Status form, to the Business Office for processing into the payroll system. Coordinate, through the Department Directors and Administrators revisions/creation of job descriptions on an as needed basis. This should be done in conjunction with current personnel laws and regulations. Ensures that professional licenses are being collected upon hire in accordance with Department of Public Health and DCF requirements, and that credentialing and privilege is completed when needed. Updates and manages all agency social media platforms. Possesses and maintains technological fluency. Regularly review and renew all necessary certifications while completing mandatory training to remain in compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines. Maintains appropriate personal boundaries with young people and families served at The Children's Center of Hamden, in accordance with the agency's Boundary Code of Ethics. Maintains awareness of The Children's Center of Hamden's Policy and Procedure Manuals and accesses relevant information as needed to guide decision-making and ensure compliance. Contributes to a safe, welcoming, and equitable environment that reflects the agency's commitment to diversity and inclusion. Perform other related duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Degree required. At least 2 years of experience working in Talent Acquisition and Recruitment. Excellent public speaking, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to evaluate competence and assess skills of candidates for employment. Possesses and maintains technological fluency.LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Human Resources Certification preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
