Job Description

We are a small, family-oriented company that operates two residential memory care homes. We provide a safe, compassionate, and engaging environment for individuals living with dementia.

Our focus is on personalized care, meaningful daily activities, and maintaining dignity for every resident. We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Human Resources & Training Coordinator to support our growing team. This role is responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training caregivers and staff, while also improving operational efficiency through the use of technology and systems. The ideal candidate is people-focused, tech-savvy, and passionate about building strong teams in a healthcare or caregiving environment. Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Hiring Develop and manage effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified caregivers and staff Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates Ensure all hiring practices comply with state and federal regulations Onboarding & Training Design and implement structured onboarding programs for new hires Coordinate and conduct staff training Ensure all employees meet required certifications and ongoing training requirements Support development of individualized caregiver training plans Employee Relations Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and support Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work culture Assist with performance management and employee retention strategies Systems & Efficiency Utilize HR software and digital tools to streamline hiring, scheduling, and training processes Maintain accurate employee records and documentation Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency through technology Create simple systems for tracking staff performance, training, and compliance Qualifications Proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare or caregiving Strong experience in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding staff Demonstrated ability to train and develop employees Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Tech-savvy and comfortable using HR software, spreadsheets, and digital systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and patient, with an understanding of working in a memory care environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in assisted living, memory care, or home care settings Knowledge of state regulations related to caregiving and residential care homes Experience creating training programs or staff development initiatives Why Join Us Small, supportive, and mission-driven team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents' lives Ability to shape and improve systems within a growing company Flexible and collaborative work environment
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
