Job Overview The HR Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Manager. This role assists with employee records management, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll coordination, and compliance with company policies. The HR Assistant serves as a point of contact for employees and helps ensure efficient HR operations. Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding Assists in posting job openings on various recruitment platforms. Coordinate pre-employment requirements and background checks. Prepare employment contracts and onboarding documents. Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding activities. Employee Records Management Maintain and update employee files and HR databases. Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of personnel records. Process employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and separations. Monitor and track employee attendance and leave records. Payroll and Benefits Support Assist with payroll processing for multiple locations, approximately 200 employees. Answer employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits. Prepare reports related to payroll, attendance, and benefits administration. Compliance and Employee Relations Ensure compliance with company policies and labor laws. Assist in investigations and documentation of employee concerns. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Experience Prior experience supporting HR department functions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis skills essential), and payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly Previous administrative experience supporting human resources functions will be considered an asset Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values innovation, integrity, and continuous growth.
