What to Expect
The START program is a 16-week intensive EV service training program designed for those with existing automotive experience . During the program, candidate s will develop technical expertise and earn certifications through a blended approach of in-class theory, hands-on labs and self-paced learning. Candidates will strengthen their soft skills through tea m-based repair practices. What You'll Do
Dedicate a minimum of40 hoursper week to training, including active participation in service center shadowing for practical experience
Engaging in instructor-led training to develop a comprehensive understanding of Tesla vehicles
Collaborate within a team environment during both lab and lecture activities
Prioritize safety by adhering toestablishedprotocols at all times
Maintain organization by ensuring proper tooling management
Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet weekly curriculumobjectivesand deadlines
Uphold a consistent and professional rapport with instructors What You'll Bring
Attend and pass each of the 16-week training sessions with an 80% or higher GPA
Must be capable of reporting to a START training location and local service center
Must be willing torelocateupon successful completion of the program and accept employment at a Tesla Service Center within30 daysof graduation from the program
Ability tolift upto 60 pounds
Must follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail
Be able to work in a team-based environment and have a "safety first" attitude
Familiar understanding of the English language, basic computer skills, including navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Compensation and Benefits
