This position will primarily support Human Resources functions while also assisting with general office administration. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, communicating with employees at different levels, handling confidential information, and managing multiple administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Assist with recruiting, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. Coordinate new-hire onboarding and ensure all required employment documents and employee information are properly completed and maintained. Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR records. Assist with employee status changes, transfers, promotions, attendance records, and terminations. Manage employee timekeeping records and follow up on missing or incorrect clock-in/clock-out entries. Prepare and verify payroll-related information before submission to payroll. Assist employees with general HR questions regarding company policies, attendance, payroll, benefits, and procedures. Track vacation, PTO, holidays, attendance, and other employee records as required. Assist management with employee performance documentation, warning letters, and other HR-related documentation. Coordinate offboarding and ensure required exit procedures and company property returns are completed. Support workers' compensation and workplace incident documentation. Help ensure company HR practices and employee records comply with applicable company policies and employment requirements. Administrative Support Maintain organized company records, forms, and administrative documents. Assist with office supplies, uniforms, PPE, and other employee-related supplies. Coordinate routine office and facility administrative matters. Assist with vendor communication and service scheduling when required. Support management with reports, spreadsheets, document preparation, and other administrative tasks. Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in Human Resources, HR Administration, Office Administration, or a related position is preferred. Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating with employees and management. Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up independently. Knowledge of payroll, timekeeping, onboarding, and basic employment practices is preferred. English required; Spanish is a strong plus. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is responsible, proactive, organized, and willing to take ownership of HR administrative work . This person should be comfortable following up with employees, maintaining accurate records, identifying missing information, and ensuring HR processes are completed correctly and on time. This is a hands-on position and a good opportunity for someone who wants to develop further in Human Resources while working closely with management and employees in a growing manufacturing company.Job Type:
