Job Description

Looking for a rewarding HR role in a resort setting? Join Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort as an HR Coordinator and help shape an exceptional employee experience while working in a dynamic environment where hospitality, teamwork, and professional growth come together.
General Purpose:
Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort is seeking a proactive and meticulous Onboarding Coordinator to support our Human Resources team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in facilitating the smooth integration of new hires into our resort family, ensuring a seamless start from their initial application to their first day on the job and beyond as well as various administrative duties.
Essential Duties:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including document management, uniform distribution, background checks, and updating driving lists.

Proficient in handling inbound calls and conducting a substantial number of outbound calls.

Manage applicant tracking and correspondence via ADP, ensuring efficient and engaging communication throughout the recruitment process.

Create compelling and clear communication materials using tools like Canva.

Maintain and update crucial HR documentation and presentations using Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.

Act as a co-administrator for the companys ADP homepage and assist in managing technical updates and functionalities.

Support recruitment initiatives by preparing materials for new hire packets, updating job bulletins, and assisting with international recruitment efforts.

Perform additional HR administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and data compilation for reporting.

MUST be VERY computer savvy and able to troubleshoot onboarding software issues.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Human Resources is a plus. College degree preferred but not required.

At least two years of experience in a similar role, with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and ADP.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of ADP is highly preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a dynamic team.

Strong organizational and leadership skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Basic computational and computer skills; familiarity with accounting programs and budgetary analysis is advantageous.

Advanced understanding of hospitality management and effective problem-solving capabilities.
Physical Demands:
The role includes both sedentary desk work and active physical tasks.

Some tasks will be outdoors in the natural elements.

Frequent walking and standing throughout the workday.

Lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Regular maneuvering through the resort facilities to reach different departments timely.
