Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator specializing in Private Duty Home Care to join our team. This vital role involves managing all aspects of human resources functions tailored to a home care environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, fostering employee engagement, and supporting organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong HR expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for enhancing workforce effectiveness in a compassionate care setting. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both staff and clients by promoting a positive, compliant, and efficient work environment. Duties Coordinate talent acquisition efforts . Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation processes to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization's culture and policies. Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and fostering a supportive work environment aligned with labor law compliance. Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, inquiries, and compliance with regulations related to workers' compensation and other employee benefits programs. Support performance management initiatives through employee evaluation processes, training & development programs, and succession planning strategies. Assist with HR sourcing activities to attract qualified candidates for various roles within the home care setting. Backup staffing coordinator for scheduling as needed. Qualifications CNA, Medical Assistant, LPN Proven experience in human resources management within healthcare or home care environments is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, affirmative action planning, and change management principles. Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday, Paychex, Kronos, Taleo, or ADP for payroll processing and workforce management. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and confidentially. Experience in training & development initiatives, employee orientation programs, and performance management processes. Knowledge of workers' compensation procedures, and contract administration related to employment practices is preferred.
