Typing Full Job Description Position Summary:
Provides the Human Resources department with accurate, efficient clerical and administrative support services under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources. Performs a wide range of human resources functions, with a focus on recruitment.
Major Responsibilities:
Act as main point of contact for employees; Serve as Human Resources subject matter expert. Coordination and accurate record keeping of the full employee life cycle to include recruitment and selection, onboarding, performance management and separation. Manage the talent acquisition process and records to include recruitment efforts for all departments from creating job posting ads, posting positions on all platforms, creating interview questions, phone screens, scheduling interviews, attending career fairs and extending employment offers. Coordinate and process pre-employment and new hire paperwork; Oversee onboarding process, new hire orientation, and new employee mentoring program. Ensure proper management of employee records and data entry into the HRIS (UKG). Responsible for creating and distributing memos/correspondence from HR department. Post information on various platforms as needed. Assist Director of Human Resources with International recruitment, housing, onboarding, orientation and recordkeeping; Maintain accurate database; act as liaison with international employees. Coordinate and track the performance management process to include 90-day evaluations, performance improvement plans, seasonal and annual evaluations Perform employment verification requests; manage and respond to unemployment claims. Assist Director of Human Resources with special projects Coordinate annual Service Awards Luncheon Assist Director of Human Resources with employee recognition efforts and programs Assist Payroll Coordinator with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries regarding benefits. Assist Payroll Coordinator with payroll process and payroll record keeping. Annual EEO reporting and FL Department of Revenue reporting. Assist Director of Human Resources with compensation and benefit benchmarking as needed. Assist Sailfish Point Foundation Board with administrative duties. Generate human resources data reports as necessary. Performs general human resources and administrative duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication and customer service skills required. Must be organized, dependable, and detail oriented. Must also be genuinely friendly and eager to help members and staff alike. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications and technological advancements and applications. Previous Human Resources and Country Club experience preferred, but not required. Knowledge of compliance with all local, state, and federal laws as they apply to the workplace and employees
Education/Training/Certificates/Licenses:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid Driver's License required. PHR or SHRM-CP preferred.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must have manual dexterity for typing, printing, answering phone, etc. Must be able to lift 10 pound (i.e. reams of paper, office supplies, etc.
