Tampa, FL) What Will You Do? As an Employee Ambassador, you will provide critical administrative and operational support to the HR Director and Leave Administrator in supporting employee leave programs and related processes. This role is essential in ensuring accurate data management, timely case support, compliance with company policies, and a positive employee experience throughout the leave process. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of managing a high volume of responsibilities with professionalism and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Administration Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR Director and Leave Administrator in coordinating employee leave of absence cases, including FMLA, ADA, personal leaves, and other company leave programs. Data Accuracy & Record Management:
Maintain accurate employee records, enter and update information in HR systems, and ensure documentation is complete and organized. Compliance Support:
Assist with ensuring leave administration practices adhere to all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Employee & Manager Support:
Respond to inquiries regarding leave processes, documentation requirements, and general policy questions with professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness. Team Collaboration:
Work closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and leadership teams to support smooth leave operations and employee transitions. High-Volume Coordination:
Manage a high volume of emails, documentation, requests, and follow-up activities using current technology and communication platforms. Communication Skills:
Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills when interacting with employees, managers, and internal HR partners. Process Enhancement:
Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. Problem Solving:
Assist in resolving issues by utilizing sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to support the HR Director and Leave Administrator effectively. What Do You Need? 2+ years of experience as an administrative professional in Human Resources Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent work experience Knowledge of Federal, state, and local employment laws HRIS systems Payroll, LOA, and employment benefits Compensation:
THIS IS AN HOURLY POSITION
