Job Title:
Human Resources Assistant Job Summary:
IBLW Holdings LLC at Lake Winnepesaukah is seeking a detail-oriented and approachable Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations in a fast-paced, seasonal amusement park environment. This role plays a key part in assisting with employee onboarding, recordkeeping, recruitment support, and general HR administrative duties, while helping foster a positive and compliant workplace culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, filing, and document management. Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files. Support employee onboarding and orientation programs. Assist in organizing and coordinating employee training sessions and development programs. Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR information. Help with HR-related projects and initiatives as needed.
EducationExperience:
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required. Human Resources Certifications (SHRM, aPHR, and/or PHR) is preferred, but not required. Prior experience in an administrative or HR support role is an advantage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
Physical Requirements:
Office-based role with frequent interaction with employees and management. May require occasional walking throughout park grounds. Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods. Flexible scheduling may be required during peak operating seasons.
