A Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support in the human resources department of a company or organization. Manages employee records, advertises job postings, and organizes materials required from job applicants.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Human Resources Coordinator to support a variety of HR, payroll, compensation, and administrative functions. This role plays a key part in maintaining employee records, processing personnel transactions, responding to employee inquiries, and supporting HR programs across the organization. Shift:
8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday What's the Job? Enter personnel and payroll actions such as terminations, transfers, reinstatements, promotions, and salary changes using the City's HR and Payroll software. Respond to pay-related inquiries from employees and other stakeholders with professionalism and accuracy. Perform precise data entry into HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Process employee separations, coordinate with departments for proper documentation, and administer exit surveys. Assist with compensation projects, reports, and data collection activities, supporting the team's analytical needs. What's Needed? Associate's degree in Business or a related field, with at least one year of experience in human resources or a similar environment. Experience with online databases such as ERP or HRIS systems. Intermediate proficiency in Excel and strong computer skills beyond basic level. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information tactfully.
