Human Resources Clerk Position Summary The Human Resources Clerk provides essential administrative support to the HR department. This role focuses on maintaining accurate employee records, processing HR transactions, and performing timely data entry in HR systems. Key responsibilities include attendance tracking, benefits support, payroll updates, and personnel file management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Accurately record and update employee attendance records and points. Process benefits enrollments, changes, and related updates. Maintain employee information in HR information systems. Enter transfers, promotions, department changes, and status updates. Handle direct deposit enrollments and banking information changes. Document disciplinary actions and corrective processes. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred. Previous experience in HR, payroll, or administrative roles preferred. Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS). Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail. Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll processes. Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
