Job Description

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join the Team! Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Support daily HR operations: Support multiple key HR functions such as recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, compliance, safety, and performance management, ensuring compliance with corporate HR policies and federal/local regulations Foster team member engagement: Support employee relations initiatives such as recognition programs, special events, and engagement activities to create a positive workplace culture Maintain employment data in HR systems: Assist with data management, track employment transitions, generate reports, and process unemployment claims Ensure HR compliance: Adhere to all employment regulations, fair hiring practices, and company policies
