Summary:

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.

Hours:

Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM-6:00PM.

Salary:

$23.25 per hour, increasing to $24.25 within 6 months.

Responsibilities:

General administrative tasks and provide clerical support to the Human Resources department in Dewitt. Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resources files and records. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, and hiring processes. Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records. Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. Assist in the screening of applicants and scheduling of interviews. Assist with payroll functions including timecards, answering employee questions, and fixing timecard errors.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of one (1) year of office experience; prior HR experience preferred. Ability to meet business needs that may require availability between the hours of 7am and 8:30 pm with advanced notice whenever possible.
