Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Clerk provides essential administrative support for the Human Resources Department. This position supports the employee life cycle by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, employee communications, and HR related projects as needed. The HR Clerk plays an important role in creating a positive employee experience by providing timely, accurate, and professional service to employees while maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and applicable employment regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, approachable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while supporting Buchanan County Health's mission of delivering compassionate care to our community.
EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred. One (1) year of administrative, office, customer service, or human resources experience preferred. Experience in healthcare, benefits administration, payroll, or employee relations preferred. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Experience with HRIS systems preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating as part of a team. Ability to learn employment laws, HR processes, and organizational policies. Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
Salary Range:
$16.00-$22.40
