Description Our client in Chicago is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and personable HR professional who can step in quickly to support a high-touch onboarding process. The Onboarding Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for new hires after offer acceptance, helping ensure a smooth transition through pre-employment screening, onboarding, and first-day coordination. This is a onsite position located in Downtown Chicago with the opportunity for 1-2 days remote.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Manage onboarding from offer acceptance through first day

+ Welcome new hires and guide them through next steps

+ Coordinate pre-employment screenings and onboarding logistics

+ Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth new hire experience

+ Track onboarding progress and maintain accurate documentation

+ Provide additional HR and administrative support as needed Requirements

+ Prior experience in onboarding, recruiting coordination, HR support, or a related role

+ Comfortable making phone calls and communicating confidently with new hires

+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

+ Ability to manage multiple onboarding processes at once in a fast-paced environment

+ Experience working with applicant tracking systems or HRIS platforms

+ SuccessFactors experience preferred
