Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR and Payroll team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resources coordination while contributing to our organization's success. Responsibilities Onboarding-Participating in New Hire Orientation (NHO)
  • Entering sensitive new hire information into system
  • Following up with new hire and answering questions
  • Getting new hire an email account set up Payroll Processing
  • Entering pay information into and processing biweekly payroll
  • Communicating with department Admins to acquire appropriate payroll data
  • Preparing post payroll reports Benefits Administration
  • Benefit tracking and reporting Risk Management
  • Tracking incident reports Other Administrative and HR duties as assigned.
Skills Strong understanding of human resources management principles and practices. Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. Familiarity with employee relations concepts and strategic planning processes. Experience with HR software such as ADP, Kronos, , or SAP is a plus. Excellent interviewing skills with the ability to assess candidates effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with employees at all levels. A proactive attitude towards learning and professional development within the HR field. This internship is designed for individuals looking to enhance their knowledge of human resources while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.
