Description:
The Human Resources Assistant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department at Platinum Pest Solutions. This position assists with recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and administrative HR functions while helping maintain organized employee records and a positive workplace culture. The HR Assistant will work closely with the HR Manager to support hiring efforts, facilitate new hire onboarding, and ensure HR processes run smoothly. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.Key Responsibilities :
Review and screen resumes to identify qualified candidates. Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers. Assist with recruiting activities, including participation in job fairs and hiring events. Coordinate and assist with new hire onboarding and orientation. Maintain and organize employee personnel files, both physical and digital. Assist with filing, scanning, and digitizing employee records to ensure proper documentation and compliance. Serve as a resource for employees by helping answer general HR-related questions and directing them to appropriate resources. Provide administrative support related to payroll items, timekeeping questions, and employee updates. Assist with various HR administrative tasks and projects as needed. Help promote a positive workplace culture aligned with the company's values. Travel occasionally to satellite branch locations to support recruiting, onboarding, and HR initiatives.Requirements:
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, or Administrative Support preferred. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Similar remote jobs
