Responsibilities:

Maintain overall responsibility for the safety and security of assigned areas. Conduct regular patrols of designated locations in accordance with established security protocols. Identify, assess, and respond to potential security threats or vulnerabilities. Accurately complete incident reports and all required documentation following security-related events. Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies and incidents, following company policies and procedures. Provide assistance to employees and visitors, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally. Escalate critical incidents to law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Monitor security systems, including alarms and surveillance cameras, to ensure continuous situational awareness.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age High school diploma or GED required Valid driver's license Valid PERC Card (expiring 2027) FOID Card (Firearm Owner's Identification) Concealed Carry License (CCL) Original Firearms Training Certificate issued by IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation) Completion of 20-hour Basic Security Training Valid security guard license for the state of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience in security or law enforcement Working knowledge of standard security procedures and techniques

Skills & Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure or emergency situations Strong verbal and written communication skills Physically capable of extended periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying equipment Ability to perform continuous physical tasks and respond swiftly to incidents
