About Us The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria provides safe, inclusive spaces and enriching programs that empower youth to reach their full potential. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy Office and Grant Assistant to join our administrative team and support multiple departments. Position Summary This Assistant plays a key role in keeping our organization running smoothly. This position supports data entry, reporting, payroll prep, and grant tracking while maintaining strong communication with staff and external partners. Due to the nature of the HR role, confidentiality is a key quality in the person we are looking for. If you're a rock star with Excel (advanced excel experience is a MUST ) and love variety in your workday, we'd love to have you on our team! Key Responsibilities Grant tracking and reporting Payroll-timesheet and PTO tracking, payroll reports Accounts Payable-processing checks for mailing, filing, invoice tracking Human Resources - new hire paperwork and orientation trainings, HR files, research HR issues Insurance-support renewal process, maintain documentation Programming- assist with grant reporting Qualifications Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Experience with database entry and document management Excellent organizational and communication skills Comfortable making phone calls and handling inquiries Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Prior office experience preferred Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid holidays, PTO, Insurance, Flexible spending, 401K Supportive, mission-driven team environment
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
