$42,000 - $45,000 per year About Us Homewatch CareGivers of Schaumburg is a growing home care agency dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. As we expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented HR/Admin Coordinator to support hiring, HR operations, and regulatory compliance. This role offers strong growth potential into office management or operations leadership . Position Overview The HR/Admin Coordinator will support recruitment, HR processes, and compliance with Illinois state regulations (including IDPH requirements) . This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and interested in healthcare operations. Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Hiring Source, screen, and schedule caregiver candidates Conduct initial interviews and coordinate onboarding Manage job postings (Indeed and other platforms) Perform reference checks and assist with background checks HR & Compliance Maintain employee records and ensure regulatory compliance Assist with onboarding documentation (I-9, W-4, etc.) Support training coordination and employee file management Ensure compliance with home care regulations and agency policies Regulatory & Policy Management (IMPORTANT) Monitor and stay updated with Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) requirements Assist in updating and maintaining company policies and procedures Help prepare documentation for audits, licensing, and compliance reviews Work with leadership to ensure policies are current and properly implemented Administrative Support Answer office phones and assist with client/caregiver inquiries Support scheduling team as needed Maintain organized records and internal systems Assist with payroll and general office coordination Requirements 1-2 years of experience in HR, admin, or office support Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and attention to detail Ability to work in-office (Monday-Friday + weekends as needed) Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry) Preferred Experience in home care or healthcare industry Familiarity with compliance, policies, or regulatory environments Experience with recruiting or staffing Benefits Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Holidays 2 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)Gym Membership Movie Pass Pay:
