Job Description

Cresline Plastic Pipe Co., Inc., a leading manufacturer of plastic pipe seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and professional Corporate HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team at the corporate office in Evansville, IN. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, support our day-to-day HR operations, and play a vital part in maintaining a positive, organized, and compliant workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities Onboarding & Offboarding:
Coordinate the new hire onboarding process, including conducting background checks and managing new hire paperwork.
HRIS Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our Human Resources Information System (HRIS), ensuring data privacy and compliance.
Employee Support:
Serve as a friendly resource for employees regarding general HR policies, benefits inquiries, and payroll questions, escalating complex issues when necessary.
Recruitment Coordination:
Assist the team by scheduling interviews, posting job listings, and communicating with candidates.
Administrative Operations:
Prepare HR correspondence, manage departmental invoices, order office supplies, and assist with meeting coordination.
Program Support:
Help organize company-wide events and wellness initiatives.
Qualifications & Requirements Education:
Associate's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably within a corporate HR department.
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Hands-on experience with HRIS or ATS platforms (e.g., Dayforce, SAP). Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
