This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys people operations, and administrative support. Your role? You are the face of HR and often first to respond to employees needing help in person or over email. You are an excellent verbal and written communicator that can take initiative, backed with the support of a small HR team. You will lead employee interactions while supporting the HR Director and the rest of the team with key operational needs. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day HR operations including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records management Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries Help maintain compliance with employment laws, policies, and internal procedures Support performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives Partner with leadership on HR projects, reporting, and process improvements Assist with recruitment coordination, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication Administrative Assistant Be the primary point of contact for employees for basic questions in person, over email, and through a small number of department calls Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics Prepare reports, presentations, and internal communications Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Assist with project coordination and follow-ups on key initiatives Support occasional event planning or internal meetings Qualifications 2+ years of experience in HR, administrative support, or a similar role (combined experience preferred) Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift between responsibilities seamlessly Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive information Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS experience a plus What We're Looking For A self-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight Someone who enjoys both people-focused HR work and behind-the-scenes executive support A flexible, solutions-oriented mindset Strong attention to detail and follow-through Schedule & Flexibility Approximately 3 days per week (with some flexibility on which days) Potential for occasional schedule adjustments based on business needs Potential pathway to full-time employment as the role and organization grow Why Join Us?
