Job Description

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Tracks absenteeism, perfect attendance, vacations on a daily basis using a point system, and prepares daily and/or weekly reports. Coordinates hourly recruiting and onboarding, including scheduling drug screens and background checks. Maintains and administers hourly employee benefit enrollments. Maintains the HR Data Base (UKG) and the Training Access Data Base. Maintains employment and medical records on all hourly employees. Administers FMLA and Short-Term Disability for hourly employees. Complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Training and experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in HR, staffing or equivalent. Must be organized with good verbal and written communication skills. Bi-lingual a plus.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical requirements include regularly spending time on the manufacturing plant floor, with prolonged standing, walking and exposure to typical production environments (noise, PPE use and occasional lifting).
