Full Job Description Overview:

The Personnel Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Modernization and Sustainment (M&S) team. The incumbent will be assisting with day-to-day personnel administrative activities and ensuring accurate employee records and compliance with company policies and applicable laws. This role supports onboarding/offboarding, employee data management and general HR operations while serving as a point of contact for routine employee inquiries. Also this position will provide administrative support to M&S facilitating employee events, visits and other clerical duties as assigned
Responsibilities:
Assists in the in-processing and out-processing of employees Assist employees with questions and connects employees with the appropriate resource, such as payroll team, HRBP, Benefits team, etc. Assists in daily Administrative and Personnel action activities to include the processing of updates to employee personal data in UKG. Processes employment action in HRIS with appropriate approvals such as pay changes, title changes, promotions, merit, bonus payouts, adders, etc. Facilitates various demographic reporting through UKG and the project HRIS system, vacation reports, separation reports, attrition and termination reports, promotions, transfers, etc. Provide a high level of customer support to employees and program management, to include various requests for information from DCAA and other Audit monitoring entities as required. Manually or electronically produces or distributes information or data in support of the program, runs reports and provides program data to leadership. Works closely with business advisories and PMO staff to provide program-specific transactional support. Perform administrative support to employee events, customer visits, other clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
3+ years of clerical experience. Proficiency with personal computers required, including Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and Teams. Strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent public speaking, presenting, and email writing skills.
Desired Skills:
General knowledge of personnel clerical tasks, including working within timesheets, reporting, and human capital systems. Experience in defense contracting. Education /
