Freedom Behavioral Health Solutions is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position will work closely with HR and company leadership to support recruitment and hiring, onboarding, employee changes and separations, time and leave administration, benefits, performance management, and employee records. The HR Assistant will also respond to routine employee questions, maintain accurate HR documentation, coordinate HR processes, and help ensure required tasks and paperwork are completed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Onboarding Post and maintain approved job openings. Review applications for minimum qualifications. Coordinate interviews and prepare offer letters. Assist with onboarding, I-9s, and new hire setup. Employee Changes and Separations Process approved employee changes in HR systems. Prepare employee change and separation documentation. Assist with offboarding and separation requirements. Coordinate system updates and return of company property. Timekeeping, Leave, and Benefits Support Review timesheets and follow up on discrepancies. Process approved time corrections and maintain leave records. Track employee leave and short-term disability status. Answer routine benefit questions and escalate issues as needed. Performance and Employee Records Track performance review deadlines and completion. Prepare and organize performance-related documentation. Maintain accurate and organized employee records. Audit files for missing or incomplete documentation. General HR Administrative Support Respond to routine HR questions and escalate as needed. Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information. Prepare HR reports, forms, and communications. Track deadlines, documentation, and follow-up items. Support HR projects and other department needs. What You'll Need to
Succeed:
Relevant experience in human resources Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent organizational skills Experience in data entry, payroll, recruitment, human resources, and customer service Ability to determine priorities, exercise sound judgment, and work independently Willingness to learn new software, to develop additional skills, and to engage in professional development Ability to exercise discretion and uphold confidentiality Demonstrated ability to interpret, apply, and explain complex policies and procedures
Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
