Job Description

Summary/Objective:
Assist human resource/ safety director in conducting all safety related functions in compliance with DOT, federal and state regulations. They are responsible for ensuring that all driver needs are being efficiently maintained.
Essential Functions:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Assist with driver's log auditing Collect driver's trip reports and ensure fuel receipts meet company standards. Assist drivers with paperwork issues as needed. Assist management in gathering information to complete accidents files. Maintain company compliance of all driver qualification and truck files. Maintain compliance for drug and alcohol testing programs. Schedule and maintain driver certifications and yearly (MVR) reviews. Assist in obtaining renewed CDL and physicals from drivers. Maintain accident, incidents, track safety performance for quarterly safety bonuses, maintain safety meeting calendar. Monitor and maintain online driver training program. Back-up for receptionist Perform other job-related duties as required
Required Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED equivalent. One to Two years transportation experience or customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of Log Books Ability to communicate safety message to diverse work force. Ability to operate standard office equipment
