A Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support in the human resources department of a company or organization. Manages employee records, advertises job postings, and organizes materials required from job applicants.
We are looking for an HR Coordinator with outstanding administrative and communication skills. responsible for coordinating and supporting the daily administrative functions of the Human Resources Department. This position serves as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR processes, assists with recruitment and onboarding, maintains employee records, supports compliance initiatives, and ensures HR operations are completed accurately and efficiently. The HR Coordinator works with the HR department to provide exceptional service to employees while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate the recruitment process from job posting through onboarding. Schedule interviews and communicate with applicants throughout the hiring process as needed. Prepare offer letters and pre-employment documentation. Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and employment verifications. Assist managers throughout the hiring process as needed. Prepare employee personnel files and onboarding documentation. Ensure completion of employment eligibility (I-9), tax forms, and required employment documents. Coordinate new employee orientation. Monitor completion of required onboarding tasks and mandatory training. Facilitate offboarding and exit documentation for separating employees. Deploy Human Resources Prime Objectives, policies, processes, rules/regulations, and liaise with the leadership and Office Managers to ensure all office follow standards policies and process. Develop programs to enhance employee relations and offer employee support to each staff member. Maintain the work and organizational structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions. Update employee records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Process employment status changes including promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations. Maintain organizational charts, employee rosters, and HR databases. Ensure planning, monitoring, and evaluations of employees work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees. Hear and resolve employee grievances with the Leadership Team and counseling employees. Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR policies and procedures. Assist with employee recognition initiatives and wellness activities. Coordinate employee communications and HR announcements. Support employee engagement initiatives led by HR department. Assist in implement employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends. Develop and recommend benefit programs to the leadership; directing the processing of benefit claims; obtaining and evaluating benefit contract options; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs. Ensure legal compliance by coordinating with Compliance Director, monitoring, and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources, recruiting, or administrative experience. Experience in healthcare or behavioral health preferred. Experience working with HRIS systems preferred.
