ROLE WHC LLC

(A Surerus Murphy Company) (WHC), is recruiting a Human Resources Coordinator. This position supports core office-based employees throughout the employee life cycle including the onboarding and offboarding experience, employee record management, compliance, reporting, and day-to-day employee support. This role requires strong attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining data integrity and a high level of service to employees and leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain and ensure accuracy of employee data within COINS (ERP), including data entry, audits, and system clean-up Generate and analyze and distribute recurring and ad hoc HR reports, including headcount, demographics, EEO, and audit reports Manage and maintain confidential employee records in accordance with company policies and retention requirements. Process Verification of Employment requests accurately and on time. Monitor and respond to inquiries in the HR shared inbox, escalating or redirecting as appropriate. Administer employee recognition programs, including Service Awards and Core Values Awards Track and maintain company vehicle insurance documentation and compliance logs Complete Form I-9 verification and E-Verify processing Support the employees' onboarding and offboarding experiences including preparing and collecting required documentation Coordinate with Payroll to ensure accurate and complete employee documentation is submitted and maintained. Organize, file, and maintain employee personnel records (electronic and/or paper) to support accessibility and data integrity. Answer employee questions and redirect inquiries as required. Partner with cross-functional teams to support HR initiatives Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Experience 5+ years' experience in human resources or related field Skills and Knowledge Knowledge of HR processes including onboarding and compliance Strong attention to detail and data accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is based at our Lafayette, LA office.
