This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting payroll and HR administration, coordinating onboarding and offboarding activities, responding to employee inquiries, and assisting with employee relations documentation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Key Responsibilities Maintain employee records and HRIS data, including new hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations Process bi-weekly payroll and related employee data changes Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities and ensure completion of required employment documentation Run HR reports, audits, and compliance reviews to support data integrity Respond to employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR processes Serve as a scribe for employee relations meetings and maintain accurate documentation Support recruiting activities, including scheduling and candidate coordination Assist with HR projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives Provide administrative support to the People & Culture team Qualifications 1-3 years of Human Resources, administrative, payroll, or operations experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now experience preferred Payroll processing or payroll support experience preferred Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environment preferred HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) or coursework in progress is a plus Benefits RFCU offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Cigna medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match and profit-sharing potential, flexible health and dependent care plans, and life, AD&D, and LTD insurance. In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base salary range for this position is $64,000 - $68,000 /annually excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired at Rockland Federal Credit Union, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
