Job Description
We are looking for a Human Resources & Payroll Coordinator to support a non-profit organization in Turners Falls, Massachusetts through a Contract assignment. This position combines payroll execution with day-to-day HR coordination, helping ensure employees are supported accurately and consistently throughout the employment lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring a strong grasp of payroll practices, benefits administration, and compliance-driven HR processes while maintaining a service-oriented approach.
Responsibilities:
- Administer end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring wages, deductions, and related records are processed accurately and on schedule.
- Coordinate benefits administration tasks, including support for open enrollment and employee benefit updates throughout the year.
- Manage onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation scheduling, documentation review, and completion of hiring records.
- Provide day-to-day human resources administrative support across employee records, policy communication, and general HR operations.
- Respond to employee questions related to pay, benefits, and workplace policies with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain organized and compliant personnel documentation in alignment with internal standards and applicable regulations.
- Assist with compensation and benefits-related coordination, helping ensure employee information is current and properly reflected in HR and payroll records.
- Support HR compliance efforts by tracking required forms, maintaining accurate data, and helping uphold established employment practices.
