Job Description
P osition Summary T he Workforce Development Data Coordinator supports training programs within the Center for Workforce Development (CWD) at William James College by coordinating data collection and data tracking systems; and conducting data validation, cleaning, and quality assurance checks to support reliable reporting and program evaluation activities. This position plays a central role in ensuring that program data are accurate, timely, well-documented, and accessible to support internal decision-making and external reporting to funders and partners. The Workforce Development Data Coordinator works closely with program staff, leadership, and evaluators to promote data-informed program implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement. E ssential Functions C oordinate routine data collection across workforce development programs
M aintain and update program databases and tracking systems (e.g., Excel, Qualtrics, and other data platforms) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness
P erform data validation, cleaning, and quality assurance checks
M onitor data completeness and follow up with students, program participants, staff and partner agencies to address missing or inconsistent information
C ompile data summaries, tables, and reports for internal use, leadership review, and external funder reporting
S upport program evaluation efforts by preparing clean datasets and collaborating with evaluators on reporting needs
M aintain organized documentation and records to support audits, monitoring, and compliance with funder requirements
E nsure appropriate data storage, confidentiality, and version control in accordance with institutional policies and ethical standards
P rovide guidance and technical assistance to program staff on data entry procedures, tools, and reporting timelines
C oordinate reporting schedules and deadlines across multiple programs and funding sources
P articipate in meetings related to program planning, evaluation, and continuous quality improvement
P erform other related duties, as assigned, to support CWD program operations and evaluation efforts E ducation and Experience B achelor's degree in social sciences, public health, psychology, education, data or information management, or a related field
M inimum of 1-2 years of experience in data coordination, program administration, evaluation, research support, or a related role
D emonstrated experience managing datasets and tracking systems with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
S trong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience using data management and survey platforms
E xcellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple datasets, timelines, and reporting deadlines
S trong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into accessible summaries for diverse audiences
A bility to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven, fast-paced educational environment

Range:
$50,000-$60,000 annually T his range represents the College's good-faith estimate of the compensation for this role. Placement within the range will depend on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Typically, candidates are hired within the lower to mid-point of the range, with the upper end reserved for individuals who bring significant, directly relevant experience and fully meet or exceed the role's requirements.
