Job Description

Serve as a primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries from employees and managers, ensuring timely, accurate, and confidential responsesMaintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files in compliance with Massachusetts personnel records requirementsAssist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including offer documentation, I-9 verification, and coordination of new-hire orientationSupport benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee questions in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsEnsure HR practices comply with federal and employment laws and regulationsMaintain compliance documentation, including Earned Sick Time, leave of absence tracking, personnel records, and required postingsAssist with job postings, screening applicants, interview scheduling, and candidate communicationsPrepare new hire paperwork and coordinate pre-employment requirements (setting up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.)Support background checks and other pre-hire processes in accordance with company policy and state lawProcess employment verifications and respond to routine HR documentation requestsAssist with HR reporting and data trackingProvide administrative support to HR leadership and participate in HR projects as assignedManagement reserves the right to modify, add, or remove job duties at any time, with or without prior notice, in accordance with business needs.
