The HR Administrative Assistant supports the Human Resources department in a variety of administrative and clerical tasks while being the welcoming point of contact for guests and employees in the office. This role is essential in maintaining accurate employee records, assisting with recruitment, onboarding, payroll, orders and deliveries, and ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is service-focused, detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.Responsibilities:
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality. Support the onboarding process including preparing new hire paperwork, ordering nametags, and coordinating & conducting new hire orientations. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures and directing questions to appropriate team members. Assist with payroll preparation by timely and accurate data entry, including earnings and deductions. Assist with employee engagement activities, internal communications and staff education assignments. Maintain compliance with company policies according to relevant employments laws. Prepare reports and documentation as requested. Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, data entry and mail distribution. Other duties as assigned.Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver's license. 1-2 years of administrative or HR related experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). The ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail is a must. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
