This position coordinates workforce development programming, including internship initiatives, career readiness programming, and leadership development opportunities through programs such as LUNA and other grant-funded initiatives. The Youth Workforce Coordinator is responsible for participant recruitment, enrollment, case management, employer and community partnerships, worksite development, workshop facilitation, data tracking, compliance, and program outcomes. This position plays a key role in creating supportive, culturally responsive programming that empowers participants to achieve long-term career and educational success. Responsibilities Participant Recruitment, Enrollment, and Case Management
  • Recruit and retain participants for workforce development and youth leadership programming.
  • Conduct participant intake, enrollment, eligibility verification, and collection of required documentation.
  • Maintain accurate participant files in compliance with grant and agency requirements.
  • Provide ongoing participant support, coaching, referrals, and follow-up services.
  • Monitor participant progress, attendance, engagement, and goal completion. Program Coordination and Facilitation
  • Coordinate and support implementation of workforce development, internship, and leadership programming.
  • Facilitate workshops and trainings related to job readiness, career exploration, leadership development, workplace expectations, financial literacy, communication skills, and related topics.
  • Assist participants with resumes, interview preparation, career exploration, and professional development activities.
  • Coordinate participant orientations, worksite orientations, and program events.
  • Support planning and execution of career exploration opportunities, employer visits, guest speakers, and special events. Employer and Community Partnerships
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with employers, schools, community organizations, and training providers.
  • Conduct outreach to identify internship, employment, volunteer, and career exploration opportunities for participants.
  • Coordinate participant placement into appropriate internship or workforce experiences.
  • Maintain regular communication with worksite supervisors and partners to support positive participant experiences. Worksite Monitoring and Compliance
  • Monitor participant worksites to ensure safe, supportive, and productive environments.
  • Conduct regular worksite visits and complete required monitoring documentation.
  • Address participant and employer concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Process timesheets, evaluations, and required program documentation accurately and on time.
  • Prepare files and documentation for audits, monitoring visits, and grant compliance reviews. Data Management and Reporting
  • Enter and maintain participant and program data within the agency's Salesforce data management system and other required databases.
  • Monitor data accuracy, completeness, and adherence to grant requirements.
  • Assist with program reporting, outcome tracking, and data collection for funding sources.
  • Meet or exceed established grant outcomes and communicate progress regularly with supervisor. General Agency Responsibilities
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional boundaries with participants and families.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Associates degree or equivalent in human services or related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Experience working with diverse youth and young adults using a positive youth development and asset-based approach.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, trainings, or group activities.
  • Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data entry, case management systems, and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
  • Cultural competency and experience working with diverse Hispanic/Latino communities and families.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
Work Schedule This is a full-time, onsite position with a Monday to Friday core schedule. The Youth Workforce Coordinator is expected to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to meet community needs. Evening and occasional weekend events may also be required to support the HCWM team and perform other duties as assigned.

From $19.00 per hour
