Job Description
SUMMARY:
The Staffing Administrative Assistant provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The Staffing Administrative Assistant is responsible for answering incoming calls, providing employee and client assistance, data processing, record keeping, and is responsible for being the front-line assistant for all temporary associates. The Staffing Administrative Assistant will aid handling the full cycle staffing/recruiting processes.QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or GED is required, an Associates Degree in Business or related field is preferred
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in an office setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as a team on assigned tasks
- Ability to work with high level of confidentiality
- Capable of typing 45 WPM
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to properly manage time during work day to complete all necessary tasks
- Willingness to learn and remain proficient using our staffing software
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for answering incoming calls and transferring calls when necessary
- Develops and retains business by providing outstanding customer service
- Delivers high quality service to clients and temporary associates by matching employees' skills with the client's needs
- Must be willing to call individuals to see if they are available for work
- Perform basic clerical duties such as scanning, copying, faxing and filing
- Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job boards
- Source and attract candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Must be able to process temporary associates with tasks such as background checks, drug screening, training, policy paperwork, and manage job orders
- Maintain accurate records related to employee files and documentation
- Responsible for the full cycle interview process
- Accountable for keeping applications up to date, calling online applicants, and sending mass text blasts
- Must be able to onboard new employees #PRF Expected hours: 40.
