What You'll Do You'll be the go‑to support partner for both HR and Safety functions at the Lake Crystal facility, helping drive compliance, employee engagement, and a strong safety culture. Your work will directly influence plant performance, workforce stability, and regulatory readiness. Safety & Compliance Assist with safety team audits, inspections, and compliance reviews. Support OSHA compliance, incident investigations, and corrective action follow‑up. Help deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and safety committee activities. Maintain safety documentation and promote daily safety awareness on the plant floor. Human Resources Administer Workers' Compensation claims and return‑to‑work coordination. Support recruiting efforts—job postings, screening, interview scheduling. Lead onboarding and orientation for new hires. Assist with employee relations, documentation, and policy guidance. Maintain HRIS updates, personnel files, and compliance records. Support training programs related to HR policies, safety, and workforce development. What You Bring Minimum of a High School Diploma 2+ years of experience in HR responsibilities such as workers' compensation, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and training. 1+ years of experience in safety audits, compliance, or related safety functions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across departments and shifts. High attention to detail and comfort in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
