Schedule:
Full Time (40hrs/week) What You'll Do Under the direction of the Benefits Manager, the Benefits Coordinator provides administrative and customer service support for the System's employee benefit programs, leave administration processes, and COBRA responsibilities. This position assists with benefit enrollments, employee communications, record maintenance, invoice processing, premium tracking, and reporting activities. The Benefits Coordinator serves as a resource to employees regarding benefit options and procedures while supporting compliance with applicable federal and state regulations and ensuring accurate administration of benefit programs. Skills/Abilities Knowledge of employee benefits administration principles and practices. Working knowledge of COBRA, leave of absence administration, and applicable benefit regulations preferred. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to explain benefit information clearly and professionally. Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Workday experience is preferred. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving and recordkeeping skills.
