Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for weekly payroll, HR administration, and job costing accuracy using QuickBooks and Buildertrend.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Administration Review, verify, and enter employee timecards, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Process weekly payroll for field and office employees accurately and on time. Maintain payroll records and employee compensation data in QuickBooks. Administer employee deductions, benefits, and payroll-related changes. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. Assist with payroll tax reporting and year-end payroll processes. Respond to and resolve employee payroll questions and concerns. Job Costing & Time Tracking Review employee time tracking and job hours for accuracy. Sync and verify payroll information with Buildertrend job costing data. Monitor labor allocation to ensure accurate project costing and reporting. Work with management to identify and correct job costing discrepancies. Human Resources Administration Manage employee onboarding and personnel records. Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, both digital and physical. Assist with benefits administration and employee communications. Support employee performance review processes. Document and coordinate corrective action procedures when needed. Help ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. Office Administration Maintain organized filing systems and administrative records. Support daily office operations and administrative projects. Collaborate closely with leadership and team members to improve processes.
Qualifications:
Required High school diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of payroll and HR experience. Experience processing payroll using QuickBooks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience in construction, HVAC, plumbing, or a related service industry. Experience using Buildertrend. Relevant HR, payroll, or bookkeeping coursework/certifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
