Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-4:00 PM; hours may be flexible Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support a manufacturing facility in North Kansas City. This position provides a broad range of HR, administrative, purchasing, document control, payroll, and health & safety support . The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing office, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, with Excel and PowerPoint experience preferred. SAP experience is highly desirable. Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources- 30% Support compliance with
AIMS, ISO
9001, andISO 45001
policies and standards. Coordinate pre-hire requirements and onboarding for new employees. Schedule and coordinate on-site interviews for prospective employees. Support employee orientation and new-hire setup. Coordinate pre-employment testing and background screenings. Assign employee numbers, order FR uniforms, assign lockers, and coordinate computer, email, software, workspace, and office supply access. Set up hourly employees for biometric timekeeping systems. Provide day-to-day administrative support to new employees. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, direct deposit, tax forms, and other HR documentation. Maintain accurate HR records, including I-9 and E-Verify documentation. Process biweekly payroll for hourly and salary non-exempt employees. Maintain HR data and prepare reports usingSAP HRMS.
Support HR audits and documentation requirements. Coordinate site HR activities and employee-related programs. Assist with tuition reimbursement administration. Provide administrative billing support for HR-related vendors. Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions and work closely with the Regional HR Manager. Support employee wellness and community relations activities. Administrative & Site Support- 35% Provide general administrative support to office, plant, and maintenance personnel.
- 25% Serve as the primary administrative backup to HESQ Specialists.
- 10% Complete special projects and other administrative assignments as directed by department or site leadership.
ISO 9001, ISO
45001, AIMS, or HSE compliance processes. Experience with SharePoint or electronic document management systems.Schedule:
