Monday-Friday About the Role We are looking for an organized and dependable Human Resources Assistant to support our Human Resources team during a 6-month assignment. This role focuses on onboarding, recruiting support, employee record management, and general HR administration. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain hands-on experience and build a foundation in Human Resources. There is also potential for this role to transition into a longer-term opportunity based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees Process new hire paperwork, including I-9 verification and documentation Respond to routine employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner Assist with recruitment tasks: posting job openings, phone screenings, scheduling interviews, and checking references Prepare offer letters and initiate pre-employment checks Support HR events, training sessions, and compliance initiatives Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (electronic and paper) Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Strong organizational and administrative skills Clear, professional communication Ability to manage confidential information Customer-service mindset Basic HR knowledge or strong interest in developing a career inHuman Resources Preferred:
1-2 years of HR or administrative experience Experience with HRIS, benefits, or onboarding processes Intermediate Excel or data skills Drug-Free Workplace National Fleet Management maintains a drug-free workplace.
