In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for employee inquiries, assist with talent acquisition processes, and help manage a wide range of HR functions. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute to fostering a positive workplace environment, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and streamlining HR operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact within a collaborative team. Duties Support talent acquisition efforts by assisting with recruiting activities, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday, Taleo, or iCIMS. Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the organization. Assist in employee evaluation processes by gathering data for performance management reviews and supporting training & development initiatives. Maintain accurate HR data entry and records management within HRIS platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro. Contribute to benefits administration by helping employees understand their options, processing enrollments, and managing workers' compensation documentation. Support compliance efforts related to employment & labor law, OSHA standards, affirmative action planning, and other regulatory requirements. Assist with employee relations activities by addressing routine inquiries, coordinating conflict management efforts, and supporting HR sourcing strategies. Skills Strong knowledge of human capital management principles and workforce management practices. Familiarity with FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), OSHA regulations, and employment law to ensure organizational compliance. Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels and managing social media channels related to employer branding. Experience with HR technology platforms such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, or similar systems for payroll processing and data collection. Ability to manage change effectively through change management strategies and organization design insights. Demonstrated administrative experience including data entry, contracts management, scheduling interviews, and maintaining confidential records. Competence in conflict management techniques and employee relations strategies to foster a positive work environment. Knowledge of recruiting tools like Taleo or Lever as well as ATS platforms such as iCIMS or iCIMS equivalents for sourcing top talent.
